Ingredients
- 3 large apples, peeled and sliced
- 125g butter, softened
- 125g sugar
- 3 eggs
- 200g flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- Powdered sugar for dusting

Prepare the batter
Cream butter and sugar together until fluffy. Add eggs one at a time. Mix flour and baking powder, then fold into the batter.

Assemble
Spread batter into a greased cake tin. Arrange apple slices on top in a decorative pattern.

Bake at 180°C (350°F) for 40-45 minutes until golden brown.
